Law Clerks

Helen Pereira has worked as a law clerk to Victoria Starr for many years. Helen oversees all aspects of the administrative side of our client and file management, including preparing financial material and assisting clients through the day to day process of dealing with their family law matter.

Her strong organizational and management skills, coupled with her natural empathetic nature, make her an invaluable member of our team.

Natasha Singh is a graduate of the Court and Tribunal Agent (Accelerated) program at Seneca College which is more recently known as the Paralegal Program. Although she is a trained paralegal, she works as a law clerk for Starr Family Law on all aspects of our client and file management, including drafting and assembling court documents and preparing financial materials. Natasha works closely with our clients to ensure that they receive compassionate, caring and helpful service throughout the daily process of coping with their family law matter. Her strong interpersonal skills and empathy for our clients make her an invaluable addition to our team.

Yumi Lai is a graduate of the Seneca College Law Clerk Program and has been working as a law clerk since 2006. Like our other law clerks, Yumi works on all aspects of family law and is dedicated to providing a high level and quality of service. Yumi speaks English, Cantonese, conversational Mandarin, and some Japanese.
